Out of the way Metroid Echoes, Nanostray by Majesco has been release and becomes the first “First Person Shooter” (FPS) on the Nintendo DS. Nanostray is described as:

An intense, pulse-pounding 3D shooter, Nanostray offers touch screen support, local area network play, an arsenal of weapons and beautifully designed environments.

The game looks pretty good, hopefully more like it will be out soon. Man cannot live on puzzle games alone.
