Wii Wii whatever. Nintendo is the land of the boring and the home of kids who can’t shoot. Now they’ve got this ridiculous Nintendo Wii. Ridiculous name, ridiculous controllers, and… well, it’s Nintendo. So it has to be pathetic, right?

At first, this supposedly official Wii promo trailer is just as silly as you’d expect from a silly game company. But as embarrassingly spastic as the actors look in the promo, you can’t help but move a little from “that is so stupid” to “that’s kind of different.” And then from “well, I guess that’s a new take on video games” to “I hate to say it but that might be the fun kind of stupid.”

Now let’s not get crazy and actually buy one. That’d be ridiculous. We’ll need every cent we can save for a PlayStation 3.

Maybe we can get just one.
