New Snake

Mark Fennell has a gorgeous Snake game called Python which is like the traditional variants, but with actual snake and mouse graphics (not to mention blood and carcass graphics), more angles, and an energy meter, but more or less the same gameplay we all love.

Old Snake
There are many incarnations of the traditional Snake game, it is common on mobile devices like cell phones. Though it looks like you’re playing on a cell phone, Neave games has a nice one written in Flash for the PC.

Programming Snake
Mattias Stridsman has a wonderful Snake game in Flash in just 746 bytes (at last count). Visit his website for it and other games and Flash gizmos. He also provides a great programming tutorial centered around the game.

Other Snakes
There are several other attempts at updating the game of Snake. Miniclip has a good one.
