There are three variants of Checkers: Standard, Giveaway, and Extreme.

In Standard checkers the rules are as you would imagine. Move your pieces diagonally one spot forward per turn, jumping the opponent’s pieces to capture them and trying to avoid having your pieces likewise captured. Get to the back row of the opponent’s side and you “King” your piece, allowing it to move forward and back.

Giveaway mode has the same rules except that you want your pieces to be captured. The goal is force the opponent to take all your pieces before you are forced to capture all of his.

Extreme checkers, on the other hand, is like Standard mode except that you don’t take turns — you move as fast as you can. At higher levels your opponent moves faster.

All in all a pretty decent checkers game.
