Geosense is an online game by Mark Rossen where you try to locate ten cities. You play alone or against others.
There are three maps, including the World, an Advanced World map, and the United States. You can also play in Scramble mode, where letters are slowly revealed and you click once you know what and where the city is.
For each city, you have ten seconds to locate it and click with the cursor, a crosshair. After clicking it assigns points based on the number of kilometers you clicked away from the actual city and the time it took you to click. After ten cities, your final statistics are displayed, including your (and in multiplayer mode, your opponent’s) total score, rounds won, the average points you received per city, average distance from the target cities you clicked, average time it took you to click.
Sign in to keep track of your high scores and to chat with other players.
Fun, educational game.
