An interesting twist on shoot-the-incoming-robots games, Word Shoot has you typing in the words under each robot that’s working its way towards you. If you let a robot get too close, it will start shooting at you. Other items appear on the screen occasionally, such as “detonate” and “fullhealth” which act as a smart bomb and healing pack, respectively.

You can send your high scores to the Word Shoot server to see how you do compared to everyone else. The graphics are more or less what you expect from an online Flash game. All in all, an interesting diversion.
