Supreme Commander, the long-awaited followup to 1997’s Total Annihilation, has gone gold and a demo is available for download.

Supreme Commander is scheduled for release on February 16, 2007 in Europe and four days later in the US. Before the release it is available for pre-order from Amazon.

Successor to Total Annihilation

Total Annihilation is a real-time strategy game created by Chris Taylor and Gas Powered Games. It was the first RTS game to use 3D units and it was fast. The maps were large and the gameplay was blistering.

The demo can be downloaded from GameSpot, Fileplanet, and Filefront. All but FileFront require registration. VGPro has faster options with no registration required.
